Dave Cruse was born and raised in Baton Rouge Louisiana.

In the early 80's he discovered the Legends of Christian Rock and fell in love with the music. He and his wife Emilie were even in a local band that covered Petra, the Archers, Imperials and others. In fact, they opened for Morgan Cryar twice on his "Keep No Secrets" tour.

After the band broke up, Dave started his radio career right in his hometown. After ten years in Baton Rouge, radio brought Dave to Tampa Bay, Houston and now home to the Prodigal (no pun intended).

Dave and Emilie are the proud parents of 3 geniuses - all boys. The two oldest (Jaymes and Nathan) are in college in Houston, TX and have their own band (potential legends someday?) called "the Bobby Boys".

Genius #3 (Daniel) is in High School and currently enjoys skateboarding, learning to play guitar and eating his parents out of house and home.
